"El Braziliero" Zé Bastiao (bürgerlich Zé Bastiao Roberto da Silva, * 07. Juni 1973) war ein brasilianischer Profiwrestler der unter anderem für die Ligen [[German Wrestling Federation|GWF]], [[ACW]], [[GWC]] und andere antrat. Er war Mitbegründer der legendären [[IQ Masters]], einem damals sehr bekannten Stable. Außerdem war er einer der Kommentatoren des [[2. dWb Turnier|2. dWb Turniers]]

==Biographie==
Zé Bastiao Roberto da Silva, so sein bürgerlicher Name, wurde am 07.06.1973 in den Slums von Rio de Janeiro geboren. Bereits in seiner Kindheit musste er zwischen den Kämpfen der rivalisierenden Jugendbanden sein Geschick im Kampf beweisen. Durch seine herausragenden Leistungen in der Schule gelang es ihm, seinen Gymnasial-Abschluss früher als gewöhnlich, nämlich bereits mit 17 Jahren zu machen.

Im Alter von 18 Jahren nahm er an der brasilianischen Kampfsportmeisterschaft teil, ohne jemals eine Kampfsportschule besucht zu haben. Er kämpfte sich bis ins Finale vor, wurde dort aber disqualifiziert, als er seinen Gegner bei einem unerlaubten Griff das Bein brach. Dieses Ereignis sorgte für einen Eklat in der brasilianischen Sportsszene und Zé Bastiao entschloss sich, nach Amerika auszuwandern und dort sein Glück zu versuchen.

Der junge Brasilianer hatte zunächst in den USA keine Anlaufstelle und so nahm er an der Universität von Miami einen Job als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter in den Fächern Wirtschaft und Informatik an. Er schrieb sich an der Uni für viele Fächer ein, hörte sich viele Vorlesungen an und arbeitete hart, sein Wissen zu erweitern, und das mit großem Erfolg. Im Alter von 21 hatte er bereits sein erstes Diplom.

Nun stand Zé Bastiao vor der Wahl, seine große Hochschulkarriere fortzusetzen, oder sich seiner auskeimenden Leidenschaft zum Kampfsport zu widmen. Er entschied sich für letzteres, doch fand er in den USA keine Sportschule, die seinen hohen Ansprüchen gerecht wurde und kehrte nach Brasilien zurück. In dieser Zeit lernte er seine Frau Maria kennen und ging bei Wrestling-Legende Bobo Brazil in die Lehre. Knapp zwei Jahre lehrte der WWF Hall of Famer dem jungen Zé Bastiao alles, was man über das Wrestling wissen muss. Darauf zog der junge Familienvater mit seiner Frau und seinem kleinen Sohn Juao erneut in die Staaten und schloss sich einer Independent Wrestling-Liga an.

Sehr schnell konnte der Brasilianer dort sein Können beweisen und unter zahlreichen Pseudonymen erste Erfolge erringen. Im April 1999 lernte er den Riddlemaster kennen, den ersten Mann in diesem Sport, der El Braz in Sachen Bildung Paroli bieten konnte. Die beiden verstanden sich sofort bestens und gründeten dann die I.Q. Masters.

===WOW===

In der WOW konnte El Braz schnell Fuß fassen und erste Erfolge verbuchen. So gewann er rasch zusammen mit dem Riddlemaster den Tag Team Titel sowie den Hardcore Titel. Kurz darauf sollte der World Heavyweight Title folgen, den er in einem harten Kampf Bobby Digital abnehmen konnte. Diesen Belt verteidigte er, bis der abtrünnige Riddlemaster ihm eine Verletzung zufügte und sich so des Titels ermächtigte. Diese Verletzung aber enttarnte sich als Fake, ebenso wie die vermeintliche Feindschaft zwischen der beiden I.Q. Masters. Der Riddlemaster gab El Braz den Titel kurz darauf zurück. Um seinen Freund Chuck Walters ein wenig zu pushen, half El Braz ihm und machte die beiden zu Tag Team Champions. Dieses Kunststück gelang El Braz sogar noch ein drittes Mal, zusammen mit The Rock. El Braz war unumstritten der dominante Wrestler der WOW, dies wird auch verdeutlicht durch die 5 Slammy Awards, die er gewann, unter anderem den als bester Wrestler. Im März 2000 schloss die WOW ihre Pforten.

===GWF (II. Run)===

In der GWF wurden die I.Q. Masters, zunächst in Form von El Braz, dem Riddlemaster und dem jungen Psycho, kaum beachtet. Erst als Psycho aus disziplinarischen Gründen aus den Masters geworfen wurde und dafür The Shock und der Cool Boarder hinzukamen, ging es bergauf. Beim PPV "Livin' In Danger" im November 1999 gewannen El Braz und der Riddlemaster in einem Four Way Dance die Tag Team Titles und stachen dabei u.a. Kahoona & Van Houten aus. Die I.Q. Masters gingen als längste GWF-Tag Team Champions der Karriere ein, denn sie hielten den Titel bis Februar 2000. Doch El Braz war auch im Single-Bereich sehr aktiv. Zwei seiner Kämpfe werden in die Annalen der GWF eingehen. Zum einen das Kaufhaus Match zwischen ihm und dem Texas Tornado, in welchem die beiden Erzfeinde das Kaufhaus vom Keller bis unters Dach demolierten, ehe der Texaner Bruchteile von Sekunden vor El Braz das Kaufhaus verlassen konnte und den Titel gewann. Doch El Braz verzweifelte nicht und kurz darauf bot sich die Chance seines Lebens: Er bekam einen World Title Shot gegen den amtierenden Champion Silverhill. In einem knallharten Hell In A Cell Fight siegte El Braz schließlich und gewann den World Title der GWF. Dies war gleichzeitig das letzte Match der GWF-Geschichte, denn die Liga wurde leider im Februar 2000 eingestellt.

===GWC===

Die Masters wechselten in die GWC. Auch dort griffen El Braz und der Riddlemaster schnell in die Tag Team Szene ein und besiegten auch relativ schnell die legendäre Human Wrecking Crew und wurden GWC Tag Team Champions. Aufgrund einer vermeintlich Unfairness aber wurden den beiden die Titel abgenommen und die Masters gesperrt. Die Titel wurden neu ausgespielt in einem 4 Way Dance, in dem El Braz den Special Referee mimte. Durch Eingriff des Brasilianers sowie des Riddlemasters aber gewannen die Masters ihre Titel an jenem Abend zurück. Im Mai 2000 schloss die GWC leider.

===ACW===

In der ACW musste El Braz sich alleine behaupten. Keine Masters, die ihm halfen. Doch auch hier konnte er sich nach einigen Anlaufschwierigkeiten durchbeißen. Nach einiger Zeit konnte er Busta als seinen Tag Team Partner gewinnen, zusammen gründeten sie die "Damned Bastards". Doch dieses Team blieb nicht lange bestehen, denn Busta hängte seine Wrestling-Stiefel an den Nagel und so wurde der Cool Boarder El Braz' neuer Tag Team Partner. Zusammen wurden sie zum "Team Cool". Nachdem der Brasilianer den German Gentleman besiegte, wurde er ACW United Champion. Diesen Titel trug er solange wie kein anderer, verteidigte ihn mehrere Male, ehe er den Titel freiwillig an den Cool Boarder abtrat. Das Team Cool tat sich dann mit einem aufstrebenden Tag Team zusammen, den Tornados, und gründete mit ihnen das "Martyrdom". Mit El Braz' Hilfe als Mentor gewannen die Tornados die ACW Tag Team Titles. El Braz hingegen machte sich auf die Jagd nach dem ACW World Title, den bis dato Barney LaVerne trug. "Desperado" Dave Williams Sr. (geb. 18.02.1954 in Fort Worth, Texas als David Williams) ist ein US-amerikanischer Wrestler. Sein Vater ist [[Ron Williams]] und sein Sohn [[Dave Williams Jr.]]. Er hat noch zwei weitere Söhne, Cody und Shawn, die ebenfalls Wrestler sind. Auch sein Bruder [[Jack Williams]] war Pro Wrestler.

===Karriere===

Williams war auf der High School ein erfolgreicher Footballer und spielte bei den Dallas Cowboys, bis eine Knieverletzung seine Karriere beendete. Von seinem Vater Ron Williams wurde er zum Wrestler ausgebildet und machte in den 70er und 80er Jahren vor allem mit seinem Bruder Jack als "Williams Brothers" in den südlichen Territorien auf sich aufmerksam. Prägend waren vor allem seine Fehden gegen Doc Watson.

Die Zeit von 1983 bis 1987 gilt allgemein als seine Stärkste, hier konnte er den GWF World Heavyweight Title gewinnen (von Don Marino) und den AAW Heavyweight Title (von Crusher Johnson). Insgesamt hielt er mit mit seinem Bruder vier mal die GWF World Tag Team Titles und konnte diese auch mehrfach auf der ganzen Welt verteidigen.

1987-1995 trat er fast ausschließlich an der Seite seines Bruders in Japan für NGPW an und wurde dort einer der beliebtesten Gaijins. Im Jahr 2000 trat er vom aktiven Wrestling zurück, am 19.05.2000 bestritt er sein Farewell-Match in Japan in der Budokan Hall und unterlag Toshihiro Akira. Vier Wochen später trat er zum letzten Mal an, in den USA, und unterlag in seiner Heimatstadt Fort Worth vor 3.500 Zuschauern gegen Hagen Wenzl.

Die German Wrestling League war eine international agierende Liga mit Firmensitz in Eberswalde. Sie wurde im September 1998 gegründet. Im Januar 2011 wurde offiziell von Dariak das Ende der Liga nach 13 Jahren bekannt gegeben, nachdem die Liga in den letzten Jahren schon mit argen Problemen zu kämpfen hatte.

==Geschichte==
=== Die frühen Jahre ===

Im Juni des Jahres 1998 trafen in der damaligen GWF zwei Spieler zusammen. Es waren [[GGM]] und [[Dariak]]. Sie freundeten sich schnell an und hatten einige Ideen, um das Fantasy Wrestling interessanter zu machen, so entschlossen sich dazu ein eigene Liga zu eröffnen.

Im September 1998 war es dann endlich soweit, die Vorbereitungen waren getroffen, die Page stand und die ersten 15 Spieler waren auch da, jetzt fehlte nur noch ein leicht zu merkender und intuitiver Name... sie nannten ihre Liga einfach "DFWLMVNI" (Deutsche Fantasy Wrestling Liga mit vielen neuen Ideen), aber aus irgendeinem Grund fanden die Spieler den Namen zu lang und so nannte man die Liga einfach nur German Wrestling League. Am 14.09.1998 ging dann der erste Bloody Sunday raus. Die Sache war angelaufen...

=== Die Anfänge von Cross Over ===

Im Oktober 1998 hatten die Offiziellen der GWL und [[ACW]] ein Treffen bei dem sie beschlossen, dass die Ligen in einen realen Konkurrenzkampf treten werden. Von jetzt an wurde sowohl die Shows der GWL und der [[ACW]] versand. Je 5 Ausgewählte der beiden Ligen mussten dann ihre Meinung sagen und am Ende wurden die Ergebnisse gesammelt und ein Rating erstellt. Von Anfang an dominierte die GWL, dies spornte die Offiziellen der [[ACW]] und sie legten sich ins Zeug. Das Ergebnis war, dass die Ratings zu Gunsten der [[ACW]] umschwangen. Sie spornte man sich gegenseitig zu Höchstleitungen an und man freute sich auf die jeweils nächste Show, nur um zu schauen was die Anderen machen, um zu Punkten.
Zu diesem Zeitpunkt wurde dann auch aus Bloody Sunday Bloody Monday, da wir übersehen hatten, dass Bloody Sunday eine historische Bedeutung hat und diese nicht besonders schön ist, und außerdem hatten wir so mehr Zeit, die Show zu schreiben.

=== Innovationen ===

Im November 1998 wurde einige der Ideen, die die beiden Gründungsväter hatten, in die Realität umgesetzt. Als Erstes wurde ein Newsletter eingeführt, der alle 2 Wochen erschien und das Layout eines Magazins hatte. Der Name? GWL-Magazin, natürlich. :o) Am Anfang bestand der Newsletter nur aus wenigen Kommentaren, die von [[GGM]] geschrieben wurde, aber später kamen dann auch Artikel der Spieler dazu und der Umfang wuchs.

Nur kurze Zeit später wurde etwas veröffentlicht, dass die Fantasy Wrestling Welt bis dato nicht gesehen hatte... die GWL war die erste FW Liga mit einer eigenen HOTLINE. Du hast dich nicht verlesen, eine Hotline. Keine Angst es war keine 0190 Nummer, es war eine virtuelle Hotline. Der Newsbereich, das Roster, die Gerüchtebereich und noch einige andere Ding der Homepage wurden so gelayoutet, dass sie wie eine Hotline funktionierten und genauso verhielt es sich mit der Navigation. Man sah die Wähltasten eines Tastentelefons und hinter jeder Taste verbarg sich ein Bereich. Die Hotline wurde mit geteilter Stimmung aufgenommen, da es die Navigation etwas erschwerte, aber die Sache realistischer machte.

=== Megalomania und die Probleme ===

Die Liga lief super und das Roster wuchs. Im April hatte die GWL mehr als 100 Wrestler. Ende April fielen [[GGM]] und [[Dariak]] als Offizielle aus und sie gaben die Verantwortung an einen Spieler ab. Dies war ein Fehler, denn nach 2 Wochen war von der GWL nur noch ein Trümmerhaufen übrig. Die Shows kamen nicht, der Ruf war hinüber und die Spieler verärgert. [[GGM]] und [[Dariak]] versuchten alles, aber es war nichts mehr zu machen und im Mai gaben sie die Liga komplett ab. Die GWL wurde zur EWA und machte dann noch etwa einen Monat bevor sie geschlossen wurde. [[Dariak]] und [[GGM]] zogen sich zurück aus dem offiziellen Teil und waren nur noch Spieler.

Nur knapp ein halbes Jahr später, nach etwa 2 Monaten Vorbereitung, gründeten sie wieder eine Liga, größer und besser als die Alte. Am 1.1.2000 wurde die Independent Wrestling Federation mit ihrem ersten PPV gegründet. Und damit hatte sich die IWF ihren Titel, Millenniums Liga, verdient. Es wurde nach kurzer Zeit wieder eine Zusammenarbeit mit der [[ACW]] klargemacht. Aber die ersten Probleme zogen bereits auf, als der US Army Syracuse Fighter einen Versuch unternahm die IWF zu übernehmen. Nach knapp einem Monat hatte er fast alle Spieler der IWF unter sich vereinigt und es sah schlecht aus, aber im April PPV wurde der USASF geschlagen und er verließ die Liga. Man muss dazu aber sagen, dass dies keine Story war, sondern echt. Ein Spieler versucht eine komplette Liga zu übernehmen, indem er alle Spieler gegen die Offiziellen aufbrachte.

Als der USASF die IWF verließ begannen die Spieler aber untereinander zu streiten, was für die Shows gut aber für die Stimmung schlecht war und es kam zu Intrigerein und man musste die Notbremse ziehen. Als erstes schmiss man die größten Streithähne und Unruhestifter raus und machte dann einen Umbruch. Eine neue Show, IWF Outcast, ging am 4.6.2000 an den Start und aus der IWF wurde kurz danach die ECW, die European Championship Wrestling. Aber alles half nichts, die Streitereien wurden immer heftiger und persönlicher. Da entschlossen sich die Offiziellen dazu den Grund der Streitereien zu entfernen und so wurde die Liga am 22.07.2000 geschlossen. Und wieder war ein Projekt der Beiden gescheitert. Jetzt schworen sie sich, dass sie nie wieder eine Liga zusammen eröffnen werden und nur sich noch als Spieler im FW einen Namen machen wollen.

Die Beiden trafen sich in der [[ACW]] wieder und es kam wieder zu einigen Gesprächen untereinander. Du kannst ja mal raten, was die beiden beschlossen haben! ;o) Also, um die Sache zu verkürzen... Am 13.November 2000 ging die GWL wieder an den Start. Back to Roots sozusagen: Bloody Monday wurde wiederbelebt und die alten Kommentatoren, Alex McLoyd und Shawn Campbell, kamen wieder zurück. Diesmal war der GWL aber kein guter Start vergönnt. Viele Spieler meldeten sich an, machten aber kein RP oder es wurde mit dem Präsidium diskutiert. Bis zum Mai 2001, denn da wurde der ReLaunch beschlossen.

Doch dadurch verlor er leider die Gunst des Publikums was ihn in eine tiefe Krise stieß wodurch er bisher seine Wrestling Boots an den Nagel hing.

Aufgrund des Ausfalles des Wrestlers Silver, trat die GWL an Miller heran um diesen zu ersetzen. Miller ist nun wieder Teil der GWL und konnte sein Comeback mit einem Sieg über Andreij Drakunov feiern.

Jarrett kommt aus dem Orange County genauer genommen Santa Ana. Dort kam er im Mai 1980 als unehelicher Sohn einer Mexikanischen Haushälterin und eines katholischen Priesters zur Welt. Als Kind des Teufels abgestempelt wurde er von seiner Mutter in ein von Nonnen geführtes Waisenhaus gesteckt das wurde. Die Nonnen kümmerten sich liebvoll um den Jungen. Jarrett Carson wurde auf eine katholischen Schule geschickt auf ein katholisches College und schließlich ins Priesterseminar.Seine Kommilitonen hatten jedoch mehr Spaß an schwarzen Messen und Sexpartys was Jarrett gar nicht Recht war. Sein Vertrauen in Gott verletzt verließ er aufgrund der dubiosen Machenschaften seiner Kommilitonen das Seminar. Jarrett wollte aber dass seine vom Weg abgekommenen Kommilitonen ihre gerechte Strafe bekommen weshalb er sie beim Bischoff anschwärtzte. Dieser jedoch kannte die Vorgeschichte Jarretts da er der Priester war der sein Vater ist. Um seinen Sohn aus dem Weg zu bekommen verbannte er Jarrett seinen Sohn aus den Kirchen seiner Diözese und somit aus der Region Orange County, Jarrett wusste nicht was er tun sollte er verlor fast seinen Glauben. Doch er betrachtete dies als eine Aufgabe die ihm Gott stellte um seinen Horizont zu erweitern. Also pilgerte er durch die ganze Welt. Er lernte fremde Kulturen und gute Freunde kennen. Carsons Muskeln wurden stark und auch sein Glaube wuchs mit jedem Tag auf der Pilgertour. Eines Tages kam es jedoch zu einer Begebenheit die Jarretts leben ein weiteres mal verändern sollte. Jarrett Carso kam in Japan in einer der seltenen Gemeinden seines Glaubens unter. Dort sah er wie im Jugendheim der Gemeinde mit Jugendlichen gearbeitet wurde. Die jugendlichen durften wrestlen was ihn zuerst sehr abschreckte da er dies zunächst nicht mit seinem Glauben verbinden konnte. Doch der Pfarrer dieser Gemeinde der auch das Training leitete überzeugte ihn ein paar mal beim Training teilzunehmen. Dies half Jarrett über seine Zweifel hinweg er sah Wrestling als neue möglichkeit seine Religion zu leben und zu verbreiten. Also pilgerte er nach ausgiebigen Training in der Gemeinde von Liga zu Liga bis er schließlich in der SWA landete.

== Die SWA ==
Die SWA war zum damaligen Zeitpunkt Farmliga der EFW und Carson konnte sich recht schnell den obersten Titel der Liga den SWA International Title sichern. Auf seinem Weg in der SWA begenete er zum erstenmal einem Menschen der mehr katholischer Hardliner war als er selbst. Murphy Mayer, welcher halb Ire, halb Bayer war konnte ihn im Hardlinerdenken noch übersteigen. Beide wurden zunächst Freunde danach ein Tag team. Leider ging die SWA pleite und Mayer wurde in die Nachfolge Farmliga der XFWA geschickt. Carson jedoch wurde ins Main Roster der EFW übernommen.

==Werdegang==
===Die frühen Jahre===

Dariak wurde in seiner Heimatstadt von Bruno Greinkel trainiert. Damals jedoch noch zum Ringer. Mit etwas 16 begann er sich aber fürs Wrestling zu interessieren und Brunos Kontakte ermöglichten es ihm nach Calgary zu gehen um dort zu trainieren. Sein neuer Trainer, Gerard Grisangle, erkannte Dariaks Talent und förderte ihn auf seine eigene Art und Weise. Neben neuen Erfahrungen sammelte Dariak dort auch viele Freunde, wie beispielsweise [[Alechandro Navarez]], der zuerst sein Sparingspartner und später Zimmerpartner war, und dort traf er zum ersten Mal, während eines Turniers in Toronto, auf [[GGM]].
Sein Heimweh nah jedoch zu und so suchte er den Weg zurück nach Deutschland. Zu seinem Glück wurde er - nach einem kurzen Gastspiel bei einer Indyliga in Frankfurt - von einem Scout der GWF entdeckt und bekam seinen ersten größeren Vertrag.

===Die ersten Schritte===
Ende Oktober war es dann soweit. Dariak debütierte zusammen mit [[Alechandro Navarez|Alechandro]] bei Squared Circle Satisfaction. Lustigerweise traf er dort auch erneut auf [[GGM]], der zeitgleich einen neuen Vertrag unterschrieb, und so war das Stable bereit die Welt des Wrestlings aufzuräumen. Okay, man war jung und noch voller Tatendrang. Es wurde Nichts mit der Revolution, aber man schlug sich nicht schlecht.
Nachdem die GWF, die an ihrem "Riesenwuchs" litt, zuerst geteilt und dann aufgelöst wurde, wechselten die Beiden in die [[ACW]]. Den Vertrag konnte ihnen [[GGM]] zuschustern, der schon einige Zeit zuvor parallel für beide Ligen antrat. Dariak und [[Alechandro Navarez|Alechandro]] machten sich einen Namen in der [[ACW]] und sammelten Titel, aber hinter den Kulissen krieselte es...
Das Office und Dariak kamen sich immer wieder in die Haare was die Ausrichtung der [[ACW]] und die Nebenprojekte betraf. Was letztendlich in einem unvergesslichen Match endete. Der Vertrag der Bruderschaft (Dariak und [[Alechandro Navarez|Alechandro]]) war bereits ausgelaufen und die Probleme führten dazu, dass man sich auf keinen Neuen einigen konnte. Trotzdem traten sie ein letztes Mal in einem [[Hell in a Cell|Hell in a Cell-Match]] ihren letzten Auftritt. Das Match endete unentschieden, nachdem die Decke der Zelle zusammenbrach und dadurch beide Teams in den Ring knallten. Die Vier wurden unter Standing Ovations auf Tragen aus Halle gebracht und damit endete der Run in der [[ACW]] (aufs Erste).

===Schwarze Jahre===
Nach der [[ACW]] war die FPW das nächste Ziel für Dariak. Der Chef der FPW war - nebenbei bemerkt - nicht gerade unbeteiligt an den Problemen, die Dariak mit der [[ACW]] hatte. Die FPW war der Anfang vom Ende. Blauäugig ließ er sich ausnutzen und wurde dann fallen gelassen. Dariak reagiert noch heute allergisch, wenn man ihn auf die FPW anspricht, denn von da an lief irgendwie alles schief.
Arbeitlos und ohne Perspektive suchte Dariak eine neue Herausforderung, aber es tat sich Nichts auf.
Die Probleme mit der [[ACW]] klärten sich und er bekam erneut eine Chance in der [[ACW]]. Beide Parteien waren bereit richtig loszulegen und an alte Zeiten anzuknüpfen. Aus dieser Zeit stammt außerdem auch Dariaks Spitzname "The Icon". Leider war die ACW schon in den letzten Zügen und, um die Sache noch schlimmer zu machen, verletzte sich Dariak am Knöchel. Bei einem Trainingsunfall knickte er um und riß sich die Bänder im rechten Sprunggelenk. Wie bereits einige Jahre zuvor (das Match trotz Vertragsende) ignorierte Dariak seine Probleme und trat trotzdem in der [[ACW]] auf. Zwar nur in geringen Umfang, aber er war da und gab alles, was er konnte.
Was man ihm eigentlich anrechnen musste, rechneten ihm die Vorsitzende der neuformierten GWF als Nachteil an. Denn er versuchte dort einen neuen Vertrag zu bekommen, aber durch seine Verletzung fiel das Try Out ins Wasser. Da er jedoch in der [[ACW]] auftrat und einige Promos abhielt, um seine damalige Fehde nicht zu gefährden, wurde er gefeuert. Dieser Grund wurde ihm jedoch erst Jahre später in einem Brief genannt.

Die Jahren vergingen und Dariak war - von drei Matches in der [[GWL]] abgesehen - im aktiven Geschehen der großen westlichen Ligen nicht zu sehen. Nachdem Melina im Trainingscamp der deutschen [[XCW]] (Xtreme Championship Wresting) zur Wrestlerin ausgebildet wurde, hatte sie im Dezember 1997 ihren ersten Auftritt als sie im XCW Tag Team Titel Match zwischen der Horror Thread (CJ Zombie & Locust "The Hellpunk") und den Bad Bangers (Bosh & Smasher) zugunsten der letztgenannten eingriff und so einen Titelwechsel herbeiführte. Fortan war sie für einige Monate als Mel X das Valet der Bad Bangers und trat gimmickmäßig als "Bitch" auf. Nach einiger Zeit sollte es zum erneuten Titelkampf der Horrorthread und den Bad Bangers kommen. In diesem Match turnte Mel X gegen die Bad Bangers und gign auf die Seite der (inzwischen) Face Wrestler CJ und Locust. Fortan managte sie die beiden, beim Split des Teams im Juni 1998 blieb sie bei CJ mit dem sie nicht nur vor den Kameras ein Liebespaar war. Sie blieb bis zum Ende der XCW im Jahre 1999 an CJ's Seite. Nach dem Ende der XCW kümmerte sie sich zunächst um ihre eigene Band names Raven's Guardian ehe sie im März 2000 wieder in Norwegen mit dem Wrestling begann. In den Indy Ligen trat sie als maskierte Red Lotus auf, die alles andere als fair kämpfte. Im Februar 2001 ging sie schließlich ins Trainingscamp von CJ's neugegründeter Liga der [[UCWF]] (Ultimate Championship Wrestling Federation).

Nachdem sie das Trainingscamp der UCWF abgeschlossen hatte, war sie die erste Frau die bei der UCWF vor den Kameras aktiv in Aktion trart. Beim Graveyard Brawl 2001 wurde sie als "Unbekannter Wrestler" auf der Card als Gegner von Mr. Brownstone angekündigt. Sie kam unter ihrem richtigen Vornamen in die Halle und man konnte sehen das ihr ein mysteriöses Gimmick auferlegt wurde. Die Musik kam von Dismal Euphony, der Titel "All Little Devils" sollte das Gimmick unterstreichen. Ihr Finisher, der Fire Thunder Driver, wurde als Bone Driver angekündigt. Sie gewann das Match gegen den bedeutend schwereren Mr. Brownstone. Eigentlich sollte Melina die Rolle eines Heels einnehmen und das erste Girl in der Army of Darkness werden, allerdings wurde sie so frenetisch gefeiert das sie ihre Rolle noch während des Matches als Face einnahm. CJ plante ihr Gimmick schnell um und ließ ein paar Sondersegmente einfließen.. So wurde Melina z.B. beim duschen (natürlich konnte man nichts sehen) von Brain Dead (The Hellraiser & Nightmare) überrascht, die die Männer- mit der Frauendusche verwechselt hatten und natürlich musste CJ da helfen und seine Army Jungs (deren Anführer er zu der Zeit war) zurechtrücken. Am Ende des Events gab es dann noch ein bisschen Billigkitsch als die beiden "zueinander" fanden. CJ der zuvor das Valet April H. an seiner Seite hatte, hatte nun Melina.

In den Folgewochen wurde es aber ruhig um Melina. Sie trat häufig nur als Valet an der Seite von CJ und der Army of Darkness auf, war aber nach wie vor so beliebt das CJ den Versuch aufgab sie als Valet der Army of Darkness zu integrieren. Kurz vor und nach dem Last Survivor 2001 gab es für sie dann noch ein paar Matches um den TV Titel, welche sie aber alle verlor. Inzwischen werden diese Kämpfe aber zum Teil nicht mehr aufgezählt da sie größtenteils bei House Shows stattfanden. Den letzten Auftritt in der UCWF hatte sie im Oktober 2001 bei Final Bell, als sie im Opener den Pretender in einem Evening Gown Match bezwang. Nach der Pause in der UCWF trat sie nie wieder in den UCWF Ring. Sie hatte nur noch nebenbei einige Auftritte an der Seite von CJ. Später kam heraus das CJ sie aus dem Programm rausnahm da man meinte er könne sie bevorzugen. Sie war trotzdem bis zum Ende der UCWF im Juli 2003 ab und an in den Sendungen zu sehen. Sie sollte aber zuvor noch einige Ligen besuchen.

=== So Nasty and Infernal - Kurz gesagt: Melinas erste Titel ===

Melina ging im November 2001 in zwei weitere Ligen. Zu einem die NWA (Nasty Wrestling Assocation) und zum anderen die IWF (Infernal Wrestling Federation). In beiden Ligen konnte sich Melina die Titel der Women Divion holen. In der NWA gewann sie insgesamt 2 x den NWA Women Titel. Das erste Mal in einem Match welches von CJ erfunden wurde (und später noch einmal in der UCWF angesetzt wurde, dort aber ohne Melina), es war ein [[Bra & Panties Match|Bra & Panties]] Ladder Match wo man den Titel erst abhängen durfte nachdem der Gegner bis zur Unterwäsche entkleidet wurde. So sicherte sie sich den ersten Titel gegen Riva. Sie verlor ihn gegen das Star Girl, gewann den Titel aber von ihr wieder. In der IWF besiegte sie Lita um sich den Ladies Titel zu krallen. Beide Ligen verzichteten aber nach einer gewissen Zeit auf ihre Women Divisions und schlossen auch später die Pforten. Melina stand wieder ohne Arbeitgeber da, aber CJ hatte schon 2 neue Ligen in Aussicht wo sich Melina beweisen konnte.

=== Der Streit mit GWL Chef Dariak & nicht geplante Wunder ===

CJ suchte für seine Melina neue Ligen und wurde bei der [[FWO]] (Fantasy Wrestling Organisation)
fündig. Dort nahm Melina an einem Turnier um den FWO Hardcore Titel teil (das einzige mal das sie freiwillig ein Hardcore Match bestritt), konnte aber in der ersten Runde nicht antreten da sie sich einen Tag zuvor den Fuß prellte und nicht mehr richtig auftreten konnte. Die FWO schloss bereits nach einer Show die Pforten und Melina ging weiter zur [[GWL]] (German Wrestling League).

In der GWL hatte sie bei Bloody Monday #20 ihr Debutmatch gegen Miss Linsey, welches sie für viele überraschen verlor. Bei der nächsten Show der GWL, [[Payback]] 2003, wurde Melina nicht gebookt, stattdessen jemand der in den Vorwochen mehr durch Abwesenheit glänzte. Diese Tatsachen, und auch die das der Painmaster in die GWL kam, veranlassten CJ Melinas Vertrag bei der GWL zu kündigen. Bis Anfang 2004 gab es Streit zwischen CJ und Dariak wegen dieser Sache. Sie wurde dann aber bei einem Bierchen beigelegt ... \n
